Leonardo da Vinci project: agreement N.[I/01/B/F/PP-120132]

 

The aim of Leonardo_E.C.N.L. project is to provide an innovative European networking License with the related syllabus. It deals with new methodologies, training frameworks, skill standards for Vocational and Educational Training (VET) linked to E.C.N.L. in order to have a certification acknowledged all over Europe.

This will improve VET systems at European level.

The project is addressed to training centre directors, trainers and end users.

The outlines of the project are:

» The detailed contents of the syllabus describe three European Certification levels in the networking field
»The European networking portfolio;
» A guide to evaluate the competency of people already working;
» E-learning tools for the ECNL

The most important product of the project is a courseware to be used as a guide to design professional profiles.

It includes:

» The description of the related European job area (data communication engineer);
» The features of a "European Junior Networking Engineer" profile ;
» The outlining of the activities of such a professional figure;
» The minimum standard required about skills;
» The relationship between the professional profile and the final ECNL certification.
» An example of professional profile with specific reference to Italian IFTS project criteria;
» A comparison of Leonardo_ECNL with the French vocational Licence "IRTI"
